Hey there! Welcome to my blog, Sarah Out Loud. I’m a 20-something wife, stay-at-home-mom, former music teacher, and (obviously) blogger. About two years ago, my husband and I moved away from our hometown of Orlando to South Florida to follow a call to ministry. My husband is a worship pastor at a local church and we’re loving where God has brought us. We’re not too far away from our family, but sometimes it feels like a whole new life down here. Since then, we’ve welcomed a beautiful baby girl to our lives, Cora, who was born in September of 2012.
Sarah Out Loud is mostly a personal memoir blog where I write about my observations and experiences as a new mom, wife, and Christ-follower.
In Motherhood Out Loud you’ll read about all things motherhood, from reflections to opinions. I’m a follower of the Baby Wise series and those principles definitely make their way into posts about my motherhood experiences.
In Baby & Bump you’ll find weekly pregnancy updates and monthly Cora updates.
In Ponderings you’ll find out just how much I like to wax poetic. In all seriousness, though, whenever I just can’t get something off my heart, I remember how the Bible described Mary pondering in her heart the news Gabriel brought to her, and I try to stop and do just that. It must be on my heart for a reason.
In Teaching you’ll find posts about being a teacher! (Duh). Since I’m not working right now, this category is pretty dry these days, most of these posts are a few years old.
In This, That, and the Other you’ll find just that.
It’s a potpourri of topics from fashion to recipes or anything else that seemed worth writing about.
So settle in, stay awhile, maybe even subscribe! Can’t wait to hear from you.
